Introduction
Penrose is a concept typography inspired by the well-known Penrose triangle: an impossible shape that challenges the viewer to look deeper. Through a clean, graphic style, Penrose has been given a look that is both modern and distinctive.
Challenge
The challenge was to translate an abstract mathematical symbol into a complete alphabet. How do you make a complex form understandable and attractive without it feeling too distant? Penrose required a visual style that combines geometry and creativity. The concept was primarily intended to create striking prints and posters.
A minimalist black-and-white color palette strengthens the graphic power and ensures a timeless look.
